Jewelry goes genderless

Hello

This is Akko, Radiann's blog manager 🎅

Recently we've been receiving inquiries like "It's bonus season!"
Hearing that from customers made me realize it's that time of year, and I've been reflecting on how the year has gone. Also, from customers,

I'm very grateful and happy when customers contact us saying, "A little reward for myself."

Did you watch the FIFA World Cup?
Those were amazing matches — truly moving, weren't they!

Facing opponents with completely different physiques and technical skills, you can't expect to win by just playing normally — that's where strategy comes in: while respecting each other they do their best and beat strong countries with team play; it was really cool.
Right now, what I do can sometimes feel like an immense task and I wonder whether it will succeed, but watching them gave me courage — if we consult with various people, plan strategy, and keep going, maybe it will work out.

On a lighter note, every player looked cool and the uniforms were wonderful, but personally I preferred their suits on returning home — I watched with hearts in my eyes.

Speaking of soccer players, they have a fashionable image; overseas players often wear diamond earrings.
They seem to be at the forefront of fashion.
At Radiann we've recently seen more orders regardless of gender, so I checked out what this year's Christmas jewelry looks like

I was surprised when I looked at Tiffany's jewelry page!! There was a photo of a man wearing a large single-stone earring, a luxurious diamond necklace and a diamond ring

Because they're wearing pieces larger than the women's ones, they were very gorgeous and beautiful
Some diamond rings I checked about 20 years ago were even listed on the men's jewelry page — rings really felt genderless

Until a few years ago, women's jewelry was "sparkly" while men's jewelry was mostly plain metal, but now it seems normal for everyone to freely enjoy sparkle, regardless of gender

I also remember my younger brother loving gems when he was in elementary school and checking my mother's jewelry. As he grew up he stopped saying he liked sparkly things, so I thought he'd lost interest, but when we made his wedding ring he had a sapphire set in a hidden spot. It was a moment that reminded me he still loves gems

Until now pink was for girls, blue for boys
and sparkle was seen as for girls — many men couldn't openly say they liked sparkle. But that's changing, and now, regardless of gender, people are starting to say they like sparkle — gender aside, people are starting to express that they love sparkle

Even considering how many male jewelers there are — so much that you might think the jewelry world is male-dominated — gender shouldn't matter to those interested in sparkle.
Jewelry is entering a genderless era

Right now at Radiann the genderless orders we're receiving include:🔻

There are many large designs like these
You may need to get used to pieces this big

Maybe start by wearing sparkle in wedding rings or pair rings

With Tiffany fully promoting sparkle, I feel the era when it's normal for both partners' wedding bands to include stones has already arrived

As in this photo, today we often receive orders asking to put moissanite only in the woman's wedding ring, but perhaps men would actually like moissanite placed on the outside of their rings as well

(For this one we set a single moissanite on the inside ♡)

In a few years it may be commonplace for both wedding bands to have moissanite
If you're considering pair rings, why not ask once, "Shall we add moissanite to match?" — your partner might be happy
