This time I'll share RADIANN's brand story
In English, “RADIANT” (radiant) means
emitting light, shining, bright.
It applies not only to objects but also to people,
expressing an inner beauty that shines brilliantly.
This phrase — ‘What a beautiful, wonderful word to express a person’s radiance’ —
struck Aya, RADIANN's founder, when she lived abroad as a child and became the impetus to launch the RADIANN brand.
Radiant smile — a bright cheerfull smile
Radiant with happiness — shining with happiness
RADIANN was named from the brand purpose:
“Each person possesses an inner radiance that becomes a smile and shines outward, and we hope that that light will continue to pour down on those around them.”
The name also exists in the diamond cutting technique called the “radiant cut,” which is loved by people around the world
On our founding day we made our first piece of jewelry; the radiant cut, Aya’s talisman of happiness, forms the “R” in RADIANN’s logo
“Radiant cut” has its corners cut off,
and is a cut that takes the best features of the round brilliant cut and the emerald cut.
It’s also a popular shape for engagement rings.
