I've mentioned several times on the blog that moissanite is perfect for travel, but I'd like to once again explain how to handle it while you're traveling.

Moissanite won't discolor in the sea, pool, or hot springs, so you can wear it with confidence. 🏝️
However, if it is combined with other stones, some stones are sensitive to water and acids, so please remove them. (For example, pearls.)

Also, if rings or other jewelry don't fit properly, they may come off due to waves or similar forces, so please be careful 🙀

Earlier we said hot springs are okay, but depending on the mineral content of the spring the metal parts may discolor, so we recommend removing your jewelry before entering a hot spring 😓

Also, moissanite's hardness is comparable to diamond, so it's generally resistant to scratches during activities such as playing in the sandbox, barbecues, and sports.🏄‍♀️

However, if the base metal is platinum or a similar material, platinum is relatively soft and may deform or become scratched. If you prefer a material that is less prone to scratches, we recommend gold rather than platinum.
